Les Immondes are a rare breed. Rare but common
which allows us to their observation in a natural state, or
a barrage in a collective frenzy that looks
both funny and disturbing our solidarity. A word that means
say so, because we are finally a team. Work
body of actors where the movement speaks in a narrative
filled with these moments born of nothing but carry everything,
where the foul evolve through a variety of situations
leading them to the four corners of existence as they try,
somehow, to create a stop on their community
individualism.

From birth to death, these three are filthy
their lives and break society both funny and questioning,
they may look like us too so we can
that laugh. They should be vile but they become even
all endearing in their simplicity as their instinctive malice
pernicious.

Les Immondes play on the tight rope in a fragile balance which is often the one of the others. Through their limits interfere
those of others. And their voices, sometimes become
as that of others.

“Côté manages its bet(…) We have given to see the full extent of the incomprehensible lack of cohesion and solidarity of our society, or even humanity.”

– Jean-François Caron, Journal VOIR, march 28 2008

“She (Vicky Côté) offers a corporal work of actors where the unusual gesture speaks. […] Sara Moisan, Patrick Simard, Caroline Tremblay and bear the weight of the piece and gestural ability is unquestionable.”

– Anne-Marie Gravel, Le Quotidien, march 21 2008
